About Me!

Janelle Odom is naturally gifted stage personality and skilled storyteller. Most recently seen as the Hostess with Virgin Voyages sailing across the Mediterranean. She hails from the DMV (DC, MD, VA area) originally and grew up in Greenville, SC. She recently received her Master’s in Fine Arts (Acting) from Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the illustrious Howard University (Musical Theatre). Throughout her extensive training, she has been working professionally since 19 where she landed her first job at professional theatre in DC. Despite COVID-19, she remained working in various filmed and live theatre projects in DC including Roundhouse Theatre’s show, “Sleep Deprivation Chamber”, which was nominated for a Drama League Award. During her time at SCAD, she received a full scholarship as vocalist as part of their executive vocal ensemble and performed all over the US & France. She is just warming up as she enters the industry and thanks her family and friends for being so supportive her entire journey of being an artist!
